PRF Gas Solutions is a company focused on technology, engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of all types of equipment and infrastructure for the fuel gas sector, from gas transportation, distribution networks, regulating stations, natural gas and hydrogen vehicle refueling stations, regasification plants, to renewable energy projects.
Regarding hydrogen, we are executing several projects, from engineering to dimensioning, for fueling stations for fleets of light and heavy vehicles, and we developed, the 1st portable hydrogen refuelling station, in Portugal – DRHYVE – and that was entirely designed and built in Portugal by PRF.
Integrated in the Green Pipeline Project, we are developing a pilot project in Seixal, which will start operating soon and has the objective of producing green hydrogen from photovoltaic solar energy, which will later be injected into a natural gas distribution network and which aims to test the behavior of domestic and industrial equipment when using the mixture of natural gas and hydrogen.
As for Industry, and because more and more companies should try to be less dependent on energy networks, be it electricity or gas, we are developing several projects for hydrogen production, because it is our conviction that in the very near future companies will be able to start decreasing their energy dependency, producing hydrogen from renewable energy that will be located on their premises.
